Forgive me for not sending out the email blast last week – we had a pretty heavy week due to all the happenings happening in the month of August! In fact, we have two big shows to announce right now:

Primero: Atención Doombiamberos! Huelepega Sound System is playing @ 8pm at Yonge and Dundas square in Toronto on August 21st. This is a free show and we’re opening for our other favourite forward thinking group of Latinos, Rebel Rhythm! Show up early to catch Huelepega and stick around to dance to the Latin Funk sounds of Rebel Rhythm!

Segundo: Funkété Vol. 5! We’re moving to Friday August 21st (I know! Same night as HSS ~ but this party doesn’t start till later!) but we’re still at the Basement [178 Bathurst St. @ Queen]. This month we invite our brothers from MTL Valeo and Bendude to drop some of their deadly tropical-bass-heavy vibes! Cover is $10 (2 for $15) and we’ve got $3.50 beers before 11:30pm!
